History:
The Capital Area School of Practical Nursing was founded in 1957 and operates at the Captial Area Career Center. CACC has an intergovernmental agreement with fourteen participating school districts in the Springfield area. We are approved by:

- Accredited by the North Central Association
- Commission and School Improvement
- The National Leauge for Nursing Accrediting Commission
