Dear Applicant:
The pre-entrance examination for the Capital Area School of Practical Nursing will be held on the dates and times listed below. You must call the office to register for the exam at (217) 585-2160. The application and personal health form in the application packet, along with the $70.00 application fee, money order only, must be on file before you can schedule an exam. The $35.00 non-refundable examination fee can be pre-paid or paid the day of the exam. Exact amount only, cash or money order made payable to CASPN, NO personal checks will be accepted.
The second Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m.
The third Thursday of each month at 12:30 p.m.
ATI offers a study guide to help prepare you for the TEAS Exam. The website to purchase the guide is www.atitesting.com/onlinestore. The price is 36.95 + s/h. Price is subject to change.
The pre-entrance exam is limited to thirty-five (35) applicants. For each test date you must call the school to schedule an entrance exam date. The school will not acknowledge receipt of your application.
You may contact this office to check on the status of your application. CASPN will not contact you.
Please come to the Nursing Office at the Capital Area Career Center, 2201 Toronto Road, Springfield, by 8:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. on the date of exam. Anyone arriving after 8:45 a.m. or 11:45 a.m., even though registered for the exam will not be admitted. NO EXCEPTIONS!
