Financial Aid:
Each student enrolled at CASPN will receive an award letter from the financial aid office that lists their cost of attendance and financial aid eligibility.
Tuition and Fees
Students are charged for tuition and fees on a semester basis. Currently, tuition is $6,250.00 or $3,125.00 per semester. The diagnostic testing fee is $146.00 in the first semester and $122.00 in the second semester. In addition to tuition and diagnostic testing, students will incur a $30.00 technology fee each semester and a liability insurance fee of $30.00 in the first semester.
Textbooks, uniforms, and supplies
Students with sufficient financial aid are provided with vouchers that allow them to charge textbooks, uniforms, and clinical supplies to their school account. These vouchers come from the Financial Aid Office. Students without sufficient financial aid must purchase their own textbooks, uniforms and clinical supplies. Currently, textbooks for the program cost $629.00. Uniforms and clinical supplies cost about $450.00.
Cost of Living Allowance
Each student’s cost of attendance budget includes a cost of living allowance of $6,400.00 per semester. The cost of living allowance may enable a student to take out student loans to help pay for expenses such as rent and utility bills.
Graduation Expenses
All students are required to pay for their own graduation expenses unless they are sponsored by the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Financial aid does not pay for these expenses. Graduation expenses include the NCLEX Application fee of $282.00, background check fee of $50.00, class pin fee of $64.00 and the LPN license fee of $50.00.
FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid
All students interested in financial aid must complete a FAFSA. You can go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete the FAFSA. To complete the FAFSA, you will need the appropriate income tax return and our school code: 016426.

Federal Return of Title IV Funds under the Higher
Education Act Amendment of 1998
Students who receive federal financial aid, (grants and loans), are considered to "earn" 100% of their financial aid by attending 60% of a quarter. A student who withdraws before completion of 60% of the quarter has earned the equivalent percentage of Title IV aid that has been or can be disbursed.
Refunds for all the other types of assistance (i.e. state, private resources, scholarships) will follow the college's refund policy.
- 100% of institutional charges are refundable if the student withdraws on or before the first day of classes.
- Application Fee, Insurance Fee and Diagnostic Testing Fee are non-refundable
- Entrance Exam testing fees are also non-refundable
All institutional charges, minus $100, are refundable if the student withdraws on or before the first day of class.
